Notice how that first part of knocking stopped as soon as Karl left the room and starts walkign around? Then as soon as he stops moving around, it comes back? Hammer toe. The door falling was likely because the floorboards moved when someone walked past, throwing it off balance. Or someone knocked it when they walked past. Why was the door there? Who leaves a door there? Couldn't they have put it there? We also didn't see a clear view of them walking past it. The witches were innocent. They're in the process of being pardoned, so you guys making them out to be evil is not helping that progress at all.
